David Carson: Overview of Some Historical Events and Issues Involving Aboriginal Peoples of Canada

Dear colleagues and friends,

AMCA Toronto invites its members and community at large to an evening with David Carson, a former Director, Legal Services Branch with the Ontario Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs, on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 8 pm, at the Faculty Club of U of T, at 41 Willcocks Street, Toronto.

This interesting lecture, “Overview of Some Historical Events and Issues Involving Aboriginal Peoples of Canada”, deals with history and the legal, economic and social issues related to Aboriginal peoples of Canada. The lecture will be in English.

Admission, which will include hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine or beer, is $10 for members of AMCA Toronto and $20 for non-members. For students admission to the lecture will be free. Before the lecture coffee and tea will be served. After the lecture everybody is invited to mingle in the Pub of the Faculty Club which will be open only for us.
