Dear colleagues and friends,

AMCA Toronto invites its members and the community at large to an evening with Igor Stagljar, a renowned professor at the Donnelly Centre at University of Toronto, on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 7:45 pm, at the Faculty Club of U of T, 41 Willcocks Street, Toronto.

This interesting lecture deals with recent results in the field of molecular biology of lung cancer and “smart drugs”. As an introduction to the lecture, a recent interview in Vecernji list daily with Dr. Stagljar may be found here (Croatian only).
Admission, which will include hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine or beer, is $15 for members of AMCA Toronto and $25 for non-members. (For your information the tickets cover only food and drinks, while the costs of the lecture and premises are borne by AMCA Toronto). For students, admission to the lecture will be free. Before the lecture, coffee and tea will be served. After the lecture, everybody is invited to mingle in the Pub of the Faculty Club which will be open only for us.
