Mladen Vranic: 93 Years After Discovery of Insulin – Whom Should We Celebrate

AMCA Toronto invites its members and community at large, to an evening with AMCA Toronto honourary president Mladen Vranic on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 8 pm, at the Faculty Club of U of T, at 41 Willcocks Street, Toronto.

This interesting lecture, “93 Years After Discovery of Insulin – Whom Should We Celebrate”, deals with controversies among scientists on who actually discovered insulin. The lecture will be in English.

Admission, which will include hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine or beer, is $10 for members of AMCA Toronto and $20 for non-members. For students admission to the lecture will be free. Before the lecture coffee and tea will be served. After the lecture everybody is invited to mingle in the Pub of the Faculty Club which will be open only for us.
